Tatenokawa Kodakara Ume Liqueur

A refined plum liqueur from Tatenokawa Shuzo, one of Yamagata's most respected Junmai Daiginjo specialists, made using premium Nanko ume plums steeped in a base spirit distilled from their own Junmai Daiginjo sake lees.

The nose is rich and deep with ripe ume fruit and heady notes reminiscent of amaretto and stone fruit. On the palate it is beautifully balanced between sweetness and tartness, with a silky texture and a vibrant, refreshing finish that stays elegant rather than cloying.
