A considered collection of exceptional things.
I.D.P.L. brings together seasonal Japanese produce, exceptional ingredients and carefully selected bottles for people who value quality, provenance and the pleasure of finding something genuinely special.
Our collection is intentionally small. It changes with the seasons, with availability and with what we believe is worth bringing to the table.
We believe good things do not need to be complicated.
A beautiful peach at the height of its season. Wagyu selected for its marbling and cut. Rice or soy sauce made with care. A bottle that deserves a place at the table.
These are simple things, but when the quality is right, they are memorable.
That idea shapes I.D.P.L. We look for products with character, clarity and a reason to be here — rather than filling shelves simply for the sake of choice.
Less, but better.
Selected across food and drink.
Our collection moves between the everyday and the exceptional — from pantry essentials worth keeping at home to produce and bottles reserved for special occasions.
Seasonal Japanese Fruit
Fruit in Japan is treated with extraordinary attention to season, variety, presentation and flavour. We select fruit when it is at its best, so the collection naturally changes throughout the year.

Japanese Wagyu
Selected cuts of Japanese Wagyu chosen for balance, marbling and eating quality. From delicate tenderloin to richly marbled ribeye, the focus remains on the quality of the cut rather than excess.

Japanese Pantry
Rice, seasonings, fermented foods and pantry staples that bring depth and precision to everyday cooking. Simple ingredients, selected because the difference in quality can be tasted.

Fine Wine & Spirits
A considered selection of wine, Champagne, whisky, sake and spirits. Bottles are chosen for quality, character and occasion rather than simply label or rarity.

The collection is not meant to stay the same.
Some of the most interesting things are only available for a short time. Fruit reaches its peak, harvests change, allocations arrive and disappear, and certain ingredients belong naturally to a particular moment of the year.
We embrace that rhythm rather than trying to make everything available all the time.
It means the I.D.P.L. collection will continue to evolve — sometimes quietly, sometimes unexpectedly.
What matters to us.
Quality
The starting point is always the product itself — how it tastes, how it is made and whether it genuinely deserves a place in the collection.
Provenance
Origin matters. We pay attention to where a product comes from, how it is produced and the details that give it character.
Restraint
More choice is not always better. We would rather offer a smaller collection we believe in than an endless catalogue without a clear point of view.
Japan, selected for London.
Japan is an important part of the I.D.P.L. collection — not as a theme, but as a source of products we find genuinely distinctive.
From seasonal fruit and Wagyu to rice, seasonings, sake and whisky, the attention given to ingredient, craft and presentation aligns naturally with the way we think about food and drink.
I.D.P.L. brings that selection together in London alongside fine wine and spirits from further afield, creating one collection shaped by taste rather than geography alone.
The common thread is not where something comes from. It is why it is worth choosing.
For the table, and for the pleasure of choosing well.
A changing collection of exceptional food, drink and ingredients, selected with care.
