Named after the year King Louis XV granted Remy Martin its royal warrant, 1738 Accord Royal sits above VSOP in the house's range, built to show the character of well-aged Fine Champagne cognac at an accessible price point.
The nose offers plum and fig jam alongside toasted brioche and a gentle vanilla and cinnamon spice; on the palate it is mellow and rounded, with buttery toffee, a touch of dark chocolate and roasted nuts, finishing with lingering notes of hazelnut and roasted coffee bean.
