Regarded by many as a dark horse of its decade, Chateau Mouton Rothschild 2008 combines great fruit intensity with superb balance and poise.

A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon and 17% Merlot, the nose is complex with blackberry, oyster shell and briary notes, well-integrated oak, and good definition. The palate is beautifully balanced, detailed and extremely fresh, with blackberry, boysenberry and a wonderful sense of minerality carrying through to an assertive, pencil-lead finish.
