The thirteenth annual Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release, aged in refill American oak casks and bottled at natural cask strength for a sweet, powerful and well-balanced dram.

Smouldering ash, smoked kipper and freshly sawn oak meet mossy peat on the nose; the palate is sweet and salty with chargrilled, waxy notes, finishing long and dry with salty smoke, vegetable crisp and a faint fennel note.
