The twelfth annual Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release, matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength for a deep, mahogany-hued dram.

Bold peat smoke, medicinal iodine and sea salt meet toasted oak, vanilla and dark fruit on the nose; the palate is massive with waxy peat, sherried dark fruit and espresso, finishing long and warming with pepper and a hint of sweetness.
