Chateau Lafite Rothschild's 2014 is a more extrovert, opulent expression of this legendary Pauillac first growth compared to recent vintages.
The wine shows an opulent and outgoing bouquet with layers of blackberry and boysenberry fruit, backed by hints of plum, cinnamon, wild flowers and exotic spices. The medium-bodied palate offers crisp, fine-grained tannin and plenty of black fruit laced with cedar and tobacco, giving a rich, powerful wine with superb depth, nuance and class that is still unfolding.
