Named for the year Don Julio Gonzalez began distilling tequila, 1942 is one of the brand's most sought-after expressions, produced in small batches and aged just long enough to build real depth without losing its agave character.

The nose shows caramel, cooked agave, vanilla and toasted oak, the palate is lush and layered with cooked agave, toasty oak, silky vanilla and a hint of dark chocolate, and the finish is long and warming with the elegance expected of a premium anejo.
