From a celebrated Burgundy vintage, DRC's 1999 Grands Echezeaux is a big, richly structured Grand Cru Pinot Noir that has now had over two decades to unfurl.

Penetrating red and blackberry fruit, vanilla and oriental spice aromas lead to beautifully detailed, quite robust flavours of excellent precision. A big wine with richness, superb length and impressive refinement, it shows a striking inner perfume and sweetness, with dark cherries, plums, mocha, violets and menthol.
