The 2002 vintage is widely regarded as one of the finest of the modern Dom Perignon era, from an exceptional Champagne growing season.
Intensely floral on release with perfumed jasmine, the 2002 gains richness with air, turning riper and almost tropical with ripe apricot, passion fruit and peach. The nose shows lemon curd, green apple, pear, honeysuckle, chalk and brioche, while the palate is paradoxically concentrated yet creamy, energetic and warm, holding its focus through a long, layered finish.
