Dom Perignon 1996
Details +
Dom Perignon's 1996 is one of the most celebrated vintages in the cuvee's history, released only in the very best years from Moet & Chandon's finest grand cru fruit.
Mouthfilling and richly toasty on release, the 1996 shows intense hazelnut aromas and a lacy texture, with notes of candied lemon, praline, tropical fruit and white peach, full-bodied and creamy with great acidity finishing on lightly toasted brioche. Now fully mature, the wine has developed nobly oxidative, earthy and truffle-tinged complexity alongside its core of baked apple, poached pear and toffee.
