Barbaresco Sori Tildin Gaja 1985
Details +
From a vintage Decanter called superb, rich and destined for long ageing, Gaja's 1985 Sori Tildin is a majestic, fully mature expression of this legendary Barbaresco cru.
Sweet, perfumed aromas of red and dark cherry fruit are pure in expression, combined with violet floral notes and sweet baking spices including cinnamon, framed by fine-grained tannins and a long finish. The wine is beautifully harmonious, seamless and integrated, with magnificent fruit, matchless complexity and stunning depth, with hints of violet, toast and nutmeg enriching plummy raspberry fruit.
