Barbaresco Gaja 1995

From what many regard as the best Barbaresco vintage since 1990, Gaja's 1995 is a mature Nebbiolo showing the leathery, savoury complexity of three decades in bottle.

The nose shows slightly meaty as well as leathery notes typical of a mature, fully evolved Nebbiolo, with the tar-and-roses character and firm, resolving tannins that define aged Barbaresco. This bottling was part of a celebrated multi-decade vertical tasting of Gaja's Barbaresco wines held by collectors and critics.
