Opus One 2021
Tasting Notes +
One of the most universally acclaimed vintages the estate has ever released, Opus One's 2021 is a powerful, exceptionally refined Bordeaux-style blend from Oakville in the heart of Napa Valley.
The 2021 blend is 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, 0.5% Merlot and 0.5% Malbec. It delivers concentrated black and blue fruit - cassis, blackberry, wild blueberry - wrapped in exceptionally fine-grained tannins, with dark red and purplish fruit, lavender, rose petal, mint and a touch of cinnamon opening gracefully into a long finish marked by dark chocolate, black tea and liquorice.
