Created in 1912 for Edouard Martell, Cordon Bleu remains the house's benchmark prestige blend, built around a high proportion of the rare Borderies cru for a richer, more intensely aromatic style.
The nose shows stewed prunes and Earl Grey tea alongside dark chocolate, pink peppercorn, pineapple and mango, while the silky palate offers candied orange peel, coffee and dark chocolate with honeyed sweetness and clove, finishing medium to long with dried apricot, almond and a whisper of tobacco leaf.
