Latour 2004

Once hailed by critic Neal Martin as a contender for "wine of the vintage," Chateau Latour's 2004 is a racy, elegant and powerful Pauillac now fully mature and drinking beautifully.

The 2004 Latour shows a nose of blackberry, cedar and damson, with a full-bodied palate of rounded tannins, blackberry, bilberry and blueberry, finishing warm, velvety and sappy. Other notes find blackcurrant, tobacco and cedar leading to graphite, smoked herbs and wet stone, with a focused, mineral-driven core wrapped in fine tannins.
