The ninth annual Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release, a cask-strength dram widely considered one of the most popular and accessible of the yearly series.

Deep smoke, burnt notes and iodine meet vanilla, chocolate and tobacco on the nose; the palate is built on peat smoke, burnt grass and roasted coffee with hints of pear candy, finishing smoky and not overly long with sweet peat lingering.
