Hennessy XO is the cognac that created its own category: the house's founder-generation heirs unveiled it in 1870 as a personal blend for family and friends, and it remains one of the most recognised prestige cognacs in the world today.

On the nose it opens with rich notes of candied fruit and dark chocolate, moving into baking spice and toasted oak, while the palate layers sweet, warming fruit against a spicy edge of pepper and clean, well-integrated wood; the finish is long, smooth and gently drying, with a lasting trace of vanilla and spice.
