Dom Perignon 2008
Details +
The 2008 vintage is regarded by many critics as one of the greatest Dom Perignon releases of the modern era, from an outstanding Champagne growing season.
Light golden in colour with a fine mousse of tiny bubbles, the opening bouquet is complex and luminous, mingling white flowers, citrus and stone fruit with a nice meyer lemon note, slight nuttiness and a touch of smoke. The palate shows toasted brioche, candied ginger, pastry cream and poached plum, full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with a deep core of sweet fruit, racy acidity and a long, saline finish.
