Tasting Notes +

One of only two Premier Grand Cru Classe A estates in Saint-Emilion, Cheval Blanc's 2021 is a wine of extraordinary elegance, led for the first time since 2011 by a majority of Cabernet Franc.

A blend of 52% Cabernet Franc, 43% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2021 shows a vivid purple hue with aromatics of black raspberries, spring flowers, cassis, freshly sharpened pencils and damp earth. Medium to full-bodied and flawlessly balanced, it offers plenty of mid-palate depth, ripe polished tannins and a long, incense-and-rose-petal finish.
